PURPLE VELVET AND GOLD QUEEN ELIZABETH GOWN (2004)
NORTHERN CALIFORNIA RENAISSANCE FAIRE


Description: Royal purple cotton velvet skirt and bodice. 3" wide Europa gold metallic trim with gray glass pearls. Gold/purple changeable silk sleeves with gold metallic ribbon bows and pearlescent sheer white organza puffs, edged with purple cotton velvet and lace at the cuffs.

The whisk is pearl sheer organza with tea-stained cotton lace and white glass pearls. The bodice is side-back laced on both sides with tabs lined in gold changeable silk. The overskirt ties in the front and is now split to display the embroidered forepart.

The forepart is gold brocade in a medallion pattern, hand embroidered in purple and black with amethyst and clear Swarovski crystals as well as seed pearls. The forepart has a pattern of fully embroidered and jeweled medallions, just jeweled medallions and some plain medallions. When the whisk isn't used, a russet sheer veil with gold Europa metallic trim and cream glass pearls is used.

Bodice: 280 grey glass pearls
Overskirt: 510 grey glass pearls
Forepart: 90 grey fresh water pearls, 420 white seed pearls, 28 fresh water pearls, 168 3mm AB Swarovski crystals, 476 violet Swarovski crystals
Whisk: 344 8mm white glass pearls

TOTALS:
1,680 pearls and 644 crystals. 2,324 jewels total

Shoes by Native Soles.  They are custom made with matching material from the gown.

The hair design is based on "Elizabeth R - disc 2" with side curl via the Rainbow Portrait

The whisk is based (loosley) on the Rainbow portrait as well.
