| MISSION Thank you for visiting this site. Our primary goal is education. We hope thru education, you will be able to keep your bird in a loving and caring environment. If for any reason you are unable to keep your bird, we offer any exotic bird in need a new home. We find experienced, loving, caring homes for these birds. We believe that all birds (breeders and companion pets) deserve love, respect, and quality care. We strive to improve the lives of these wonderful birds through education and outreach programs. We are a self-supporting volunteer rescue. We are dedicated to assisting bird owners in finding new, loving homes for their companion birds when they can no longer care for them. Our GOALS are simple: * To rehabilitate and correct behavioral problems related to neglect, abuse and improper care; * To educate the public; * To reunite lost birds with their families; * To help birds remain in their homes through education and behavior modification; * To place unwanted birds in caring, nurturing, loving, permanent homes or sanctuaries depending on the needs of the individual bird; * To offer a permanent home for retired breeders and untrainable parrots. We do not "warehouse" birds. We try to match the birds with loving families who have bird experience. We are in the process of networking with other rescue organizations. We feel this will help in the proper placement of these wonderful birds. If you or anyone you know needs help or has any questions concerning the care of birds, please do not hesitate to contact us.
