I am interested in obtaining an AmStaff as a family pet. I found your wonderful website by searching thru the AOL Search engine. We reside in Princeton, New Jersey and would really like to know where the closest breeder is to us, can you help? My 7 year o d AmStaff, Shaka, succumbed to being poisoned by an anonymous person several years ago. Since then I have been too stressed out thinking about him to get another family pet. But I think that I am over my bereavement at this point and desire to finally get another dog. Anyway my 12 year old son really would like to have a puppy too. Looking forward to hearing from you. Happy Holidays! Ron & Karen Gordon Princeton, NJ [email protected]

I own a 3 year old male (brown & white, Boxer coloring) He is the sweetest and I just can't get enough about Am Staffs! I rescued him from the Humane Society in Montgomery Co, Maryland last year, he was badly abused, but to make a sad story better he is v ry loved and a happy 75lbs. (from the 25lbs he was when I brought him home!) I really enjoy seeing alot of pictures and reading aticles on them. The only eal problem I feel he has is some allergies, he scratches alot, I've had him to the vet alot, recently he had these cysts between his toes which the vet put him on Predizone and ntibiotics, he seems o.k. now so far! Any advice please respond, Thank!

Really enjoyed your web page, wish you had more pictures. We have always owned a dog in our family, always a terriew of some kind. When one of our pets reached the age of 12 and died, we got a dog book and decided on a pet we would all like. The American S affordshire appealed to us and so we purchased one. He was 3months at the time and we named him Bandit. He was one of the best dogs we ever owned and all the admirable traits listed about Am.Staffs were certainly present in him. He lived to the age os 13y s. Currently we have another Bandit who in now 4yrs old, we purchased him when he was 4wks. At the time we were looking to replace our original Bandit,we could not find any AM.Staffs in our area for sale. Our current dog resembles our first dog very much, lthough he has some pit bull in him and is not 100% Am. Staff, he is registered with the UKC. The truth is both of the dogs have temperments which I beleive are evenly matched.I have children and grandchildren which I have never had to worry about the dog being around. Both dogs have been wonderful with people. I do beleive their breeding does have something to do with their temperment but I also feel just as strongly that how they are raised is equally important. Both dogs were and are hearty and healthy Well its been nice talking and take good care of all the wonderful Am Staffs which you breed.

"Bonnie" just finished her championship in April, mostly owner handled. I am very interested in the Company because you seem to have ethics & a true picture of what you are breeding for. Perhaps some of your members would be interested in advising me on where to go from here w/ my girl, she is just 18 mos old so I won;t be breeding for awhile, I feel she is specials material. would be glad to send pedigree and ht/wt info. thanks, Deb K.

I have been contacting S'N'S Kennels for some few days and am currently looking for one maybe 2 pups for pet usage as they will be neutered. They will be in a family setting with very young children so age of them is important. No biting, crate training potty trained(for the most part). We prefer the fawn and white look but can be flexible if we find the 'right' pup/pups. Temperment is a very critical thing due to the children. An adult available for training is home with the children at all times. I would also like suggestions on the feeding of such pets that is not too expensive but will facilitate the best behaviour of the dog e.g. no gas or indigestion. And dog product manufacturers, who makes the most reliable items for the cost? We live in OKC ut are willing to travel for the right pup.

I know a lot of AST breeders don't like tri's because thier color but I w s wondering how you guys (the company) felt about them? Do you or would you breed one if it had a good pedigree and excellent confirmation? I am just asking for your opinions, I have tried to talk to other AST breeders but a lot of them are completely a ainst anyone that is involved in the U.K.C., why is this? I have tried to contact some of the owner's of my dog's ancestor's to find out more about his line's only to get slapped in the face. Isn't there any friendly dog people anymore or is it all poli ical now? Please take a look at my AST and let me know what you think of him and let me know your opinions on tri's.
