Mission:
To Provide forecast for the general Ashland, WI area, and any other forecast that is requested, including but not limited to travel, scientific studies, marine, and other cities. We do this in order to assist the college itself as well as community members in the area.  We are non-profit and any donations received will be placed in a fund for additional equipment.  Through the NCFL, students gain additional forecasting experience outside of the classroom.

Present Status and Operations:
The NCFL is currently upgrading to more advanced and better forecasting software.

NCFL forecasts will be occasionally broadcast on WRNC 97.7, Northland College's radio station.
