NCMemorymakers encourages any conversation about tips and techniques pertaining to the art of creating memory books. We encourage members to get to know each other, but if you find that you're corresponding with one person and the conversation no longer pertains to the rest of the list, please take it to private email.
OFF TOPIC POSTS: We ask that you please identify anything NON Scrapbook related with the letters OT or NSB in the subject heading. OT is Off Topic, and NSB is Non Scrapbook Related. Due to the number of members, we do ask that you keep OT e-mails to a minimum.
- When you're replying to a post and it's a "me too" type of post,
please send it through private email. If your reply would provide
useful information for other list members, please share with all
of us.
- Remember that through email we cannot see the expressions on
someone's face or hear a tone of voice, so if something you read
bothers you, please take it up with that person privately. It may be
a misuderstanding.
- No flaming is allowed on NCMemorymakers. This means no personal attacks towards any list members.
-No spam mail of any kind, extra long signature lines, excessive quoting (quote only that portion you are responding to) or chain letters are allowed over the list.
- Please do not cross post when posting to NCMemorymakers. This means
that you should only have [email protected] in your To: line.
There should be no other addresses in the To: line or the CC: line.
This causes a lot of confusion between email lists.
- PLEASE conduct business correspondence OFF list. Feel free to ask
where you can buy what you're looking for, but if you ask one of our vendors to mail you an item, contact them privately and conduct the transaction privately with them off list.
- Because of the vast differences in religious preferences among our
members, we ask that anything of a religious nature (joke, discussion, etc.)not be posted to the list.
- Most of all, enjoy the list and all the information that we all
have to share. The rules are few and are basic Internet etiquette.
