We had a wonderful concert on March 7, 2005. Thank you so much for your support in the choral program here at Central Cabarrus. We competed at Wingate University on March 17th and both groups did a great job. The Advanced Chorus received an Excellent in grade 6 for their performance of Ave Verum and Didn't My Lord Deliver Daniel. The Advanced Women's group also received an Excellent for their selections of Come In and Come Now My Dearest Jewel. I am extremely proud of the hard work and time these two groups have devoted to their musical studies.
Small ensemble festival will be on Friday April 8th at University Methodist Church off of W.T. Harris. We have a men's group and a ladies group competing on that day. We will be leaving Central at 9:00 a.m. and returning around 1:00 p.m. We'd love to have you on that day.
Our final concert will be held in the M.L. Barnes Theatre on Monday, May 16th at 7:00 p.m. This concert will consist of lighter music and is the time where we do a Powerpoint presentation of the seniors in our group. Hope to see you there. Our final performance will be on Friday , May 28 at 9:00 a.m. for Central's graduation ceremony. All students are expected to attend.
