Push Press
Weight should positioned at the top of the chest.  Hand placement is the same as Flat Bench.  Feet are shoulder width apart with a staggered stance for better balance.
Bend knees slightly when performing lift.  As you straighten legs push the weight upwards and exhale.
Weight should move directly upward and should not be positioned either at an angle in front of the head or behind the head.
Correct spotting technique is essential for safety in this lift.  Look at the two pictures below to see the correct method for spotting on the Push Press.
