Weeks 1-4 Review vocabulary and grammar from Latin I. Learn one new construction each of these weeks. Weeks 5-16 Learn new vocabulary and grammar Week 17 Translate short selections representative of Latin literature Week 18 Review and exam The first sixteen weeks are a continuation of Latin I with much the same pace and much the same approach to learning the grammar, vocabulary, English derivatives, Roman history and mythology. Outside reading assignments will focus on the life of a Roman emperor or on the Roman army.
