| Welcome to First Grade! We are thrilled to have your child in our classroom. We have an exciting year ahead of us. In August we will be studying the following themes: All About Me, Citizenship Skills, Friendship, as well as Communities. In math we will be reviewing numbers to 20, single digit addition using manipulatives, and simple patterning. In reading we will review the letters in the alphabet and their sounds.
