| Welcome to our new website. I hope you will find the information here to be helpful. Our students are working very hard this year. I am really proud of their class work. | What's new in our class? |
| We are working on Valentine mailboxes for the children. Your child should have gotten home with a class list for their valentines. If you do not have a list, please call or send a note with your child and we will send one home. It would be great practice for the children if you let them sign and address their own valentines. |

| HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS: Please remember to read every night with your child. There should be 2 math problems done every night. It is very important that your child draw pictures to represent the math problems. If we miss school due to bad weather, please continue to read the take home book and do 2 math problems per night. The pleasure book that your child keeps for a week should be read at least 3 or 4 times per week. You will want to discuss this book with your child. Discuss their favorite part, the characters, the setting, what makes it a book they enjoy or don't enjoy and other books they have read that are similar to this book. |

| There will be a dance at Brush Creek Elementary School on Thursday, February 13th. The time of the dance is 3pm-5pm. I hope everyone will come out and have fun for Valentine's. The money made at the dance will help support the yearbook at our school. |
