All classes have started our Unit on the novel The Wierdo by Theodore Taylor. This unit helps to cover our NC competency goals on the hydrosphere, wetlands, ecosystems, and population dynamics. The novel will be read in class and the students will work on a variety of class activities in conjunction with the novel. The students are responsible for keeping a notebook on this unit. This notebook will contain all of the classroom activties and assignments and will be turned in at the end of the unit and count as a test grade.
