| Meet Mrs. Glad This will be my fifth year teaching fourth grade at Hiddenite School. I came to Hiddenite from Taylorsville Elementary where I was a teacher assistant for 20 years. I fullfilled my life's dream by completing my teaching degree in 2005 and am now blessed to be a part of the staff at Hiddenite. I teach our team Math and Science/Health, and English and Spelling to my homeroom. I am excited about teaching and love coming to school every day! I am married to Bill Glad and we have lived in Taylorsville for more than 30 years. Our daughter, Hillary, is a contractor with the US Army and she and our grandson, Kenny, live in Conover. Our oldest son, Ben, is a computer tech and lives in Taylorsville. Our son, Nathan, works at Commscope and he and his wife, Trish, live in Mooresville with their daughter, Ellie. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and am very interested in foreign mission work. During the past five summers I have participated in United Methodist Building Teams in Lithuania and Armenia. |
