SIMS Release 7.10 This has been loaded at all of the schools. Remember to help other SIMS users to setup their printer after a new install and to copy null.bat  irq.on file into the ccsmss folder. If you don’t know how (newer data managers) call me and I will talk you through it.

Dot Matrix forms If you have extra forms or paper let me know so we can share with the other Data Managers.  We would like to use up all we have in storage.

LaserJet Attendance Sheets will be in 10/15/03 in the afternoon.  Cheryl will give you a call when you can pick them up

Thank you to all the Data Managers that helped get the Drop out reports run and into the CO for Wendy to run.  You are a great group to work with.

SIMS web page: I have been working on this. Go to http://www.geocities.com/nck12710bradshawp/SIMS.html It’s still under construction. Let me know what you think and what should be added to the page.

Windows shortcut keys: To highlight a whole paragraph at a  time. Triple click anywhere inside the paragraph. J Try it….it really works.

Lunch Codes:  Several Data Managers have had success with importing the updated lunch codes in SIMS.  Try it you will be surprised.  Give Roxane or Myra a call if you need support.

Remember: Wendy gets the diskette for builds sent to the central office.  Phyllis and I get the paper copy of the PMR.

SAR Please continue to work on this. I know that we have some course changes to make because we loaded the release BEFORE SAR. Call me if you have any questions

Calendar:  An updated calendar will be posted to the SIMS Web Page as soon as I can convert the files to HTML.  Some transfer dates have changed

A neat Web Site: A too cool online dictionary!

Contributions to this newsletter :  Holly Powell from Brunswick County started this letter and she said I could modify it for our use.  I’d really appreciate some SIMS shortcuts from you that I can share with the “newer” data managers.

This Week’s Quote

I wish there was a knob on the TV to turn up the intelligence. There's a knob called 'brightness' but it doesn't work.
