I can add a little to your information on the Hood line from the
Family Bible of WILLIAM STAUGHTON HANKS.
On the Births page:
" ELIZABETH HOOD, who became the wife of NATHAN HANKS, was born July 23rd 1778".
On the Marriages page:
" NATHAN HANKS and ELIZABETH HOOD were married March 14th 1797"
On the Deaths page:
"ELIZABETH HANKS died in Pickens County Ala., May 13th
1858, aged 79 years, 9 months & 20 days"
Nathan Hanks and Elizabeth Hood were my gggrandparents. The Bible pages
gives information through my grandmother. I will be happy to send you a copy
if you send your postal address. Your information on the Hood line is the
first that I have found about Elizabeth's family. I have more. Hanks
