Be it ever so humble, there’s no place like home...

Apartments (not dorms!) are really cute!

The apartments are cute, but I wish Spaniards didn’t have this aversion to carpeting.

When I finally got up to my apartment, I was utterly relieved and very content with the size of the place.

This town is just beautiful.

I love the Plaza.

It is so strange to be calling Alcalá home but it almost feels like it is.

Two things I hate about Alcalá: Mosquitoes and slow internet service. Two things I love about Alcalá: siestas and sangria.

I wonder what the Spaniards think of us Americans.

I love basically everything about Spain except the people.

I really do love Spain, I promise.

I still don’t know how I feel about this place.

Well, a week has gone by and I was still happy to be in Spain.

I bonded with the lady in the café today; last time she just laughed at me.

Small store owners will help people they know before they help me.

The Spaniards have been very nice to me.

I just feel like I’m supposed to be doing Spain-y things all the time.

I don’t want to be here.

Spain is improving every day! I mean it has gone from sucky to relatively cool in about two weeks.

It’s kind of weird to see the impact your country has on others.

I miss everything that is American.

Spain is different. No shit.

I´m having a great time. Nothing needs to be said other than that.
