Grey Feather Reiki
What is Reiki?

Reiki is one of the most ancient  healing methods known to mankind.  It was introduced to the world in its present form by Dr Mikao Usui, a Japanese monk.
Reiki (pronounced RAY-key) means "universal life force energy" in Japanese.  It is a simple, non-invasive, natural healing method which allows one to absorb more life force energy.  The energy is transferred through the hands of the giver and into the body of the receiver.  Actual physical touch, while commonly used, is not required for Reiki to work, and the receiver is always fully clothed.
Reiki affects each person or animal differently, but it always acts where ever the receiver needs it most.  It induces deep relaxation which enhances the body's natural ability to heal itself.
In its long history of use Reiki has aided in healing virtually every known    illness and injury, from heart disease and cancer to cuts, bruises, broken bones, headaches, colds, fatigue and insomnia.
Thanks to research in the field of bioenergetics, Reiki is gaining acceptance at hospitals, clinics and animal shelters across the country.  It has been shown to accelerate recovery from surgery, reduce negative effects of medication, improve mental attitude, and help patients heal faster and with less pain.
