When you first registered your child in competitive swimming, you probably thought you would be purchasing a few suits, caps and goggles. You also realized you would be paying fees. It probably didn't take long before you realized that swimming is different from other sports. Swimming is not a sport where you can just send your child and forget about it. If a swim team is going to work, the parents must and do get involved.
