About | The Northwestern Connecticut Community College History Association was founded in the fall semester of 2000 by Student Bruce Hillman. It's advisor is the history professor at the college, Mr. Todd Bryda. It has grown from a small club, to one of the most active clubs on the college campus. The History Association offers interesting historical events every year. They host a historical movie night 4-6 times each school year, off and on campus. In the spring semester every year there is a historical luncheon with a guest speaker. Topic's have ranged from the Tuskgee airmen to history workers around Connecticut. At the end of every year, there is a BBQ hosted by the History Association, open to members of the club, and history classes. |
