Ultimo Dragon vs. Shannon Moore:
They lock up and Moore wrenches the Dragon’s arm. Ultimo Dragon hits a couple arm drags and a side headlock takedown. Moore whips Dragon into a corner, but Dragon runs out and goes for a schoolboy pin for a near-fall. Dragon has Moore in a headlock, and as Moore tries to get out of it, Dragon keeps it locked in. Dragon is tossed, but hits a tilt-a-whirl head scissors. Moore is outside the ring, but when Dragon tries to go on the offense, Moore gets a shot in and tosses Dragon back into the ring. Moore tries for the pin, but scores a near-fall. Moore hits an elbow on Dragon and then latches on a rear chin lock.
Dragon gets out of it, and as Moore tries to keep the offense going, Dragon ducks and hits a springboard moonsault. Both men are down, but Dragon goes for the pin to get another near-fall. Moore tries to work in some punches, but Dragon blocks it and works in some kicks to the legs. Dragon tosses Moore into the corner, and tries for the Asai DDT but Moore hits a drop kick to prevent it. Moore goes for the pin, but scores a near-fall. Moore is tossed and tries for a sunset flip, but Dragon rolls out of it and runs Moore through with his knee. Moore manages to get the upper hand and goes up top and hits the Halo and just when you think Moore had the Dragon beat, Dragon hits the Asai DDT and wins the match.

Lita/Trish def Jazz and Molly, when Lita pins Molly with the Litasault. Lita was way over with the crowd. Fans were very into this match and it showed as all 4 ladies turned it up another notch.
Hurricane def Matt Hardy. Matt got a huge face reaction when he came to the ring, but then turned the crowd with a heel promo. Finish saw Matt seemingly have the match won, until Lita came out giving Matt the Lita-curanna which allowed Hurricane to deliver the shining wizard for the pinfall. Again fans were huge into Lita and seemed to enjoy this match.

Out comes Hurricane Bisoff tells him that if he wants his job to go easy he should
relax. Hurricane sets Bisoff up for a choke slam. This is interrupted by the
Brooklyn Brawler who starts pounding on Hurricane. Out comes Tommy Dreamer who has a
ken-do stick in his hands looks like hes going to take out Bisoff and The Brawler
but at the last second turns on Hurricane and hits him with the ken-do stick.
This sets up the first match as Rosey comes out to the aid of Hurricane.
Hurricane and S.H.i.T vs Tommy Dreamer and Brooklyn Brawler.
This match didn't go on long before it was interrupted by La Resistance who beat on
Hurricane and Rosey. Out comes Garrison Cade and Mark Jindrak who start beating on
La Resistance. I am pretty sure Hurricane and Rosey won this match but as soon as it
was finished the Cade Jindrak vs La Resistance match started without so much as
anything but the bell.
Christian and Lita vs Molly and Matt Hardy
Really decent inter-gender tag match solid spots for both teams looks like a match
will see on Raw this week. After the match Coach interviewed Lita about everything
thats happened to her this week and as the interview was going we saw a run in from
Jazz. Lita made quick work of her and punched out Coach and left.

La Resistance (Dupree and Conway) vs. Hurricane/Val Venis.
The match went back and forth. It was pretty good for an opening match,
actually. Dupree's odd little skipping taunt did show up. Val got the win for his
team via the Money Shot. No towel bit. (Yep, girls, Val and Dupree are every
bit as nice looking in person!)
WINNERS: Val Venis/The Hurricane
Afterwards, Hurricane and Val were attacked by a pair of guys (I can't
remember their names, but one was bald with an odd-looking beard and lots of
tattoos, and the other had really long red hair. They appeared on Velocity and Heat a
few weeks ago, doing the job on both, one to Spanky and Paul London). These
two guys got the microphone, and during their little spiel, Mark Jindrak and
Garrison Cade's music hit.
Match 2: Tattoo guy/Redhead guy vs. Mark Jindrak/Garrison Cade
Hurricane and Val remained ringside for this match, and interfered midway on
Jindrak and Cade's behalf. Jindrak and Cade got the win, looking quite
impressive as they did so.

The Hurricane vs. Rene Dupree - I might have been the only person who was
cheering for Dupree. Insert your own insult here. Dupree controlled this one from
the get-go, even adding in that skip over/ knee drop thing he does. Hurricane
starts the token comeback, and Sylvain Grenier wanders down to ringside, with the
FRENCH FLAG OF DOOM. BUWWAAAHHHHAAAAHHHHAAAA! That's for SK. Of course, as it
always will be, Hurricane nails Grenier, who drops the flag, Dupree picks it up and
nails Hurricane, and picks up the pin. Only problem: Dupree missed the flag shot,
and the Hurricane still sold it as if he was shot. UGH. WINNER: RENE DUPREE
Tag Team Match: Molly Holly/Gail Kim vs. Lita/Trish Stratus
Stacy Kiebler was the guest ring announcer, if your hormones weren't juiced up
enough already. Victoria was the special guest referee. All four women shared
control of the match, with Trish taking a beating towards the end. Lita nails a
whisper in the wind, but when Trish attempts it, Victoria decks her, leading to
Molly attempting a pin. Stacy pulls Victoria out, and the faces beat her to a pulp.
Inside, Trish nails Gail with the bulldog, while Lita nails Molly with the DDT, but
there's no ref. Uh, there's also no ref to actually come out and count the pinfall.
Earl must have been in the can. It was pretty funny seeing Trish and Lita stand
there and try to figure out what to do. Finally, Jack Lanza comes out and shrugs
his shoulders, so Trish counts the pin herself, and that's good enough for the Fink,
who rings the bell.

The Hurricane vs. Rene Dupree
Good work from these two. The Hurricane is an awesome wrestler, as is Rene Dupree. A
nice clean wrestling match with the Hurricane nailing an Eye of the Hurricane, but
wasn't able to get the cover. The end came with The Hurricane looking for a
neckbreaker but Rene counters him and rolls him up, using the ropes for leverage.
WINNER: Rene Dupree: 4 out of 5

Lita & Ivory vs Molly Holly & Gail Kim
Jazz actually was NOT the special guest ref for the match. First out is
Gail, who is followed by Molly. Out comes the faces - Ivory comes down, you
can tell she is really pumped. Lita's music hits leading to easily the
biggest fan response of the night, she comes out the match kicks off with
Ivory and Molly, Gail receives the tag, impressive moves by both Gail and
Ivory. Lita gets the hot tag and cleans house, she hits some impressive
moves such as a spinning-out powerbomb, and a twist slam. Lita hits the
twist of fate for the win. The ladies put on a really good match tonight,
good high spots by Lita. Ivory & Lita celebrated the win with the fans, Lita
joined the front row fans by delivering high fives all around.

A-Train defeated Matt Hardy Version 1.0
Hardy was very over with the fans in Birmingham. Lots of V.1.0 merchandise
worn by the audience. Match was decent with A-Train playing the psycho heel and
Hardy playing the gutsy babyface. Train won cleanly following a bicicle kick.
Hardy got a good ovation whilst leaving. A-Train had good heat with lots of
"Shave your back" chants.

Molly Holly & Gail Kim vs. Lita & Trish Stratus w/ Jazz as special
guest referee
I know one thing, I took lots of pictures in this match! Trish and Lita
picked up the win. Jazz joined forces with Molly "Junk In the Trunk" Holly
and Gail Kim but the faces still came out on top after good ol' Charles
Robinson ran in to make the three count after Trish nailed the
Stratusfaction. Lots of posing done after the match and I got to shake
Lita's hand so it's all good.
Winners: Lita and Trish Stratus...ps Trish is very hot

JAKIE & VICTORIA VS TRISH & LITA
Okay first off, after being this close to these people I can honestly tell you that these women are SHORT. Trish can’t be anywhere over 5’1”! So the diva’s fight it out, while Val tries to cop feels the entire match. Funny spot: Trish punches Victoria in the mouth, Victoria’s response: “Oh! You smeared my lipstick!” That was funny. End result is the Trish corner head scissor thing she does (I can’t remember the name) followed by Lita’s Twist of Fate all on Jakie, for the win at 7:46.
WINNERS: TRISH & LITA
MACK & M. HENRY (W/TEDDY LONG) VS HURRICANE & ROSEY
Teddy is on the stick and finds the one black guy in the crowd. Says he respects that brother because no other sane brother could live in such a cold, and “Oh so white place like North Dakota!” It’s true though. Out come Hurricane and Rosey to a nice pop. Hurricane gives his mask to a kid in the front row. We get the usual stuff here. Funny spot of the match: Rodney is working over Rosey, and goes for a headbutt. However, Rodney makes this weird face and then falls flat on the canvas! Ah, the ol’ “think Samoan Head” gag. Match ends at 12:13 with a top-rope cross body from Hurricane to Rodney.

Shelton pinned one of the Bashams to retain the titles in a four way tag match
also featuring APA and Hardy with S.Moore. Good tag match. Lotsa stuff going on and
the crowd liked it. APA was wayyy over with crowd. Funniest moment of the night when
one section in the bowl started chanting, "Farooq, Farooq, Farooq is on fire!", ala
the Bloodhound Gang. I had never heard that before and the APA was all over it and
totally postured for that section. After the match APA went to shake hands with
Charlie and Shelton but gave them the finger instead. Crowd ate it up. Too little of
Matt Hardy in this match though. Still can't get over how popular APA was.

How many times have we seen this match now? They really need to give the Dragon a break. He is a very talented wrestler who is just not getting the opportunities he deserves in the WWE. My beliefs are that the WWE should allow each wrestler work their style, because that way they can make more money since it’ll allow for more interesting matches that fans will definitely want to pay to see and it’ll also allow for the wrestlers to showcase their moves.
I knew Lita was over but I didn't realize how over Molly was. She got
possibly the biggest heat of the night here. pretty good match. Hurricane slapped
Molly's ass when she tried to hit him from the ring apron. I thought it was
interesting that Hurricane and Lita had both been dumped by Molly and Matt. I
was actually entertained by Jazz..when she and bish kicked the ref out she did
a little strut. Lita wins after hitting Jazz with a twist of fate and Molly
with a DDT and a new referee came out to count the pin
WINNERS: LITA & TRISH STRATUS
This was a Triple Threat Elimination Tag Match. Some fans had a Big
Bird Sign and some Tickle-Me Big Bird plush toys taunting Lance Cade.
I’m assuming this goes back to his OVW days. I never the noticed the
resemblance until now. When Hurricane came out, he brought one of the
plush toys in, mocked Cade with it for a little bit, then chokeslammed
the toy. Cade apparently took offense to it and punted the toy out into
the crowd while Mack and Henry put their arms up signaling “it’s good”.
It’s debatable whether this or Teddy Long’s promo before the match was
the actual highlight of the match. Jindrak & Cade were eliminated
first, and Hurricane was pinned by Henry.
They booked Matt as a face here and it worked well as he was over with the
crowd. A-train was playing his role well and got some good heat. Ok match
that shouldn't have been the opener.
Mortis no sells punches from Hardy, he threw out kicks at Hardy but the
little MF'er Shannon Moore got involved allowing Matt Hardy to hit the Twist of
Fate and pick up the victory.
People love Hurricane here. Hurricane gives mask to
little girl. Good match. Rosey wins with double-team
move on Mack.
This was an excellent match and I think Kanyon has a real good gimmick going for him
know. They both played the crowd and Matt Hardy made fun of Mortis by making
mysterious motions like Mortis does. Mortis's high point of the match was doing a
top rope Boston Crab on Matt Hardy. His offense didn't last for long though as Matt
his the middle-rope legdrop and the twist of fate to get the win. The crowd was very
behind Matt tonite.
Winners: Hurricane & Rosey after a somoan drop neck breaker
Rey Mysterio vs. Nunzio vs. Matt Hardy
Rey got a nice ovation for his entrance. The match was what you'd expect from these cruiserweights. Nunzio was great but Rey looked the most fluid out of the three. Rey got the pin on Nunzio after the 619 and the West Coast pop. Good Match!
Hurricane got a massive reaction. Kane came out to a good reaction, and he
did the 'thrust-arms-burn-ring-posts' bit. I was sure this meant a loss as
is so often the case when he does it before a match, but not this time.
Hurricane get's on the mic and rips on Kane. Finishes up by saying he isn't
afraid of Kane because he '...has hurri-Powers, Beyotch!' (As an Aussie,
even typing the word 'Beyotch' sounds stupid...I mean honestly, it's
'Bitch', just deal with it!) Crowd was pumped for this one, and Hurricane
bumps like a pinball for the Big Red Machine. Pretty short match ended as
Kane went for the choke-slam, hurricane reverses to his own, then Kane
reverses again for the slam and the pin. Kane was all power, and Helms was
fantasitc. I was really looking forward to seeing Helms wrestle, and he did
not disappoint! Hurricane get's a big pop as he leaves.
Mack came out without Teddy (*ahem,* Theodore R.) Long, and went about brushing up his mic. skills. I was not at all a fan of this guy beforehand, but he spoke pretty well considering he had to add the 'playa' lingo. He still looks incredibly bland though. Going to work with Helms, all of the standard Hurricane offence went through like a charm. Babyface win.
This was the opening match and a very good effort from both men. For some reason Stevie Richards was without Victoria, despite the fact that she had a match later on in the evening. Howard Finkle was on the mic and announced Stevie as being from Saint John, New Brunswick. He threw the mic down and mouthed "f*ck". Steveie drew some good heat as Hurricane was over immensely thanks to the fact that he was the first face on the card. The match ended after Hurricane scored with the Shinning Wizard.
Matt got on the mic and told Shannon that he'd been screwing up and that this was his last chance to be a Mattitude Follower. Matt also said that Crash was gone and that if Shannon lost this match, he would also be gone. Back and forth match the entire time with nearfalls by both Matt and Shannon. Matt eventually got Shannon in a small package for the win. After the match Matt said that Shannon put forth great effort in their match and that he could stay as the #1 Mattitude Follower. They both shook hands and walked off together.
Winner - Matt Hardy via "Mattitude" roll up
