Champion Bagpiper, Ian Staten, of Pinehurst, NC., provides bagpiping for your special occasion. Ian, a second generation Scot, is the official piper to the prestigious Pinehurst Resort. Ian has studied bagpiping under the Gold Medalist, Mike Cusack, as a member of the World renowned St. Thomas' Episcopal School Pipes & Drums. He has also studied extensively in Scotland at the Piping Centre and the College of Piping in PEI. Piping can be provided for weddings, funerals, parties, or to honor a special guest. Ian is available to travel, upon request. A full repertoire of music is available. Ian has performed for many noted dignitaries, church celebrations, the Queen's jubilee, Burns' suppers, fund-raisers, and numerous other special functions.
