Quilt Entry Form

 

                Quiltfest 2004, sponsored by the North Country Quilters, will be held Saturday, September 25, 2004, at the Municipal Building, Main Street, Newport, Vermont, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free. This Quilt Show features a contest, display and antique quilts, a quilt raffle, vendors, special quilt exhibits and demonstrations. Judging is by People’s Choice.

To enter a quilt:

·          A quilt may be entered for display or as a contest quilt to be judged. Any number of quilts may be entered. Complete this form in advance and mail, along with $1 entry fee for each item, to Jeanne Prue, 74 Cedar St. , Newport, VT 05855.

·          Deliver your quilt(s) on Saturday, September 25, between 7 and 9 a.m. to the Municipal Building, Newport.

·          Optional: Stitch a 6” muslin sleeve to the top back of your quilt to facilitate hanging.

·          Because everyone's quilt is unique, priceless and irreplaceable, we ask that you DO NOT risk mailing your quilt to us for our short, one day Show.

·          Quilts will be on display from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please share your entry with all the Quiltfest visitors, all day. Any quilts sold during the show must also adhere to this rule. Winners will be announced and ribbons awarded at approximately 3:00 p.m. Quilts must be picked up between 4:00 and 4:30 p.m.! Your ENTRY STUB must be presented upon claiming your entry.
