Aimee looked at Brian and Nick sitting on the stage. A smile crossed her face, when she saw them hug and laugh. She hoped now everything between them would be back to normal. She walked on stage, and they both looked up at her. Nick smiled, and she sat between both of them. Nick put his arm around her, and she leaned against him.
"Is everything okay between you guys," Aimee asked them.
"Yeah, everything is cool," Brian said with a smile.
"Great! Now maybe you guys can get practicing... go," Aimee said, pushing them both up.
They both jumped up and grabbed their microphones. The rest of the guys, also, piled back on the stage, along with the band. Aimee got off the stage, sat in the audience, and watched them do what they do best... sing.

After the show was over, Aimee was walking backstage, and she saw Brian walking over to her. She smiled and went towards him.
"Hey, Brian. Great show," she told him.
"Thanks. Look, I'm really sorry for everything. I know I probably..." Brian said, then was stopped by Aimee.
"You don't need to apologize for anything, Brian. I actually want to thank you," Aimee told him.
"Thank me? For what," Brian asked.
"For letting me meet Nick. I'm sorry that we didn't work out like you wanted us to, and I'm sorry I didn't listen to you," Aimee said.
"It's okay. You don't need to apologize, either. I know that you are going to be happy. Nick will treat you right," Brian told her.
She grabbed his hand and squeezed it tightly. She smiled at him, and he smiled back.
"Thank you so much, Brian. I'm glad that you accept that I am with Nick," she said.
"It's cool, Aimee," Brian said, then kissed her forehead.
"Are you ready to go, Aimee," Nick called from around the corner.
"Yeah, I'm coming, Nick," Aimee said back to him.
She turned back to Brian, and his face was lit up by his smile. She hugged him tightly, and he hugged her back.
"I will see you tomorrow, Aimee. Now go with him," Brian told her.
She quickly gave Brian one more hug, then went with Nick. By the time he looked back to where Nick was, they were both gone. He sighed and walked down the hallway alone. He thought about Aimee and how hard it was to let her go. Although it was hard, he knew that he couldn't stay attached to her forever. It was time to get on with his life. She would always be there, but not the way that he wanted. He made his way to a new life and attitude about love. It was an incredible thing to him. When he put his hand into his pocket, he felt a picture. He pulled it out and saw it was the picture of him and Aimee that he always carried. He looked at it one more time, then put it on the floor and walked away from it. He didn't look back, and he didn't feel any sadness about what happened. He kept on walking and was ready to start a new chapter of his life... without Aimee.
