Senior Systems Analyst
Conducted a large Image Capture upgrade that included the conversion from token ring to Storage Area Network. Project required the upgrade and customization of the InputAccel capture software, ImagePlus Workstation Program, IBM Personal Communications and the operating system upgrade from Windows NT to Windows 2000. Spearheaded the combined efforts of all hardware installation including the IBM 3995 optical library, scanners, blade servers, client workstations and printers.

Pioneered a huge SAS conversion project that involved converting all Easytrieve Plus programs. This project utilized DB2, CICS, COBOL, C++, SQL, MS ACCESS, SYSD and IBM utilities. QA tested in multiple LPARS and documented results.

Served as CSP Administrator and Coordinator for Visual Age Generator.

Systems Analyst
Directed an extensive software evaluation effort for the Advanced Technology and Development Group. This product evaluation consisted of detailed test plans, analysis and recommendations to management on a series of development products. Products included SCLM, Visual Age Generator, SmartTest, Silas Reveille and WSED.

Led Y2K conformity project for company network and client/server applications. Developed and executed test plans for PC/LAN and OS/390 mainframe environments.

Implemented IBM's Content Management to capture and retrieve 1099's and other pertinent financial reports. Customized packaged software to conform to company standards.

Image Architect
Designed and developed a Windows-based document capture system using InputAccel as the client/server front-end and ImagePlus on the mainframe. Provided all customization of InputAccel modules as well as ImagePlus COBOL/CICS/DB2 applications. This project provided the ability to scan, index and store documents or photos. These images were exported to the mainframe, transitioned to the 3995 optical library and made readily available to any authorized user.

Senior Programmer Analyst
Developed an MVR ordering system that interfaced with the North Carolina Department of Transportation This fully automated system utilized IBM’s CM Mouse scripting language, Super Send Receive automated file transfer, DB2, CSP, COBOL, CICS and SYSD. This project completely revolutionized the MVR ordering system and eliminated the company’s short-term sub-standard underwriting risk for auto policies.

Created a CSP-based financial reporting system to standardize the accounting practices of all county offices throughout the state of North Carolina. This reporting system is called COBRAS, (County Office Budget Reporting and Accounting System). The county offices are individually owned and operated and are not required to use this system but all participate because of the automation, structure, conformity and accountability the system provides.
