WEEK 4 RECAP - Ramrod joined the league and began play in week 4. They went 1-1 with Jon
Byrd demonstrating that he is a strikeout pitcher with 25 Ks in 2 games. Byrd showed that he could also handle the bat going 3 for 7 with a HR. His team showed patience drawing 16 walks. Joe Mastriano, who was well rested, displayed a brilliant pitching performance. He threw the third no-hitter of the league this year. He led the Legends to 2 wins by pitching 11 innings allowing only 1 double and 0 runs. He struck out 26 batters walking only 5. He batted 7 for 15 on the
week. Dodson provided the winning RBI in the 1-0 win over Murder Inc. Albie Powers provided the only hit for Project Viper vs. Joe as Alex pitched a CG in the losing cause. Murder Inc. was no-hit twice in the week. But finally gained a win vs.
Ramrod as Chris Connolly pitched well in the win and the 1-0 no-hit loss. Jim Mirakian earned his first save of the season and broke out of his slump hitting 2 HRs off of Byrd. Marotta added to his walks lead. Smash Brother's continued to dominate in the league winning 4-0, 3-0, and 6-3. Kevin earned all three wins, but Eric pitched very well vs. Sponsored

Sponsored by Wendy's had a tough week having to face the Smash Brother's twice. Jeff Connolly pitched as well as he could have, but still lost. His struggles at the plate earned him Jabroni of the Week honors. Scott Welton lowered his ERA by pitching 1.33 scoreless innings in relief work.
