Well it has been awhile since I've updated the website. Things have been a little crazy. On Halloween, during trick or treat, Adena had what I suspected to be a seizure. It was a drop seizure. Three days later she had another. Her neuro ordered an EEG and seizure activity was confirmed. She was started on Keppra and so far (knock on wood) we have had great seizure control. Roni has been dealing with everything pretty well. She doesn't quite understand why Adena has to have so many doctor appointments and she doesn't and why Adena has to take two medicines every day and she doesn't. It's very hard to try to explain things to her without going into too much detail that they both won't understand right now. It gets tough at times but we have a lot of support from family and friends which means the world to us. We will be forever thankful for all of the support that we receive. We are at my Mom's house today and the girls are having a lot of fun. On this page are some pictures from today. The first picture is of Adena and Roni with their Grandpa Brooklyn.
