Greetings all,

Welcome to another week here in Old Sycamore.  Special thanks go out to Theresa Levi and Paula Bruns for putting on an awesome day camp this past weekend at the Mercer County Sportsmen Club.  Special thanks also go out to all the adults who served as day leaders and program area leaders, you all did a great job! 

SCOUTING FOR FOOD PATCHES:

I still have a large amount of Scouting for Food patches, if you have not gotten in contact with me regarding picking up the patches, please do so as soon as possible.  Some of you have been in contact regarding your patches and I will be getting them to you this week. 

MEMBERSHIP KICK-OFF MEETING:

There will be a fall recruitment “Race to Cub Scouting” kick-off on Tuesday June 14^th at 7:00 p.m. at the Westlake Village Lodge/Clubhouse (the place where we had the August kick-off).  It would be great for all packs to send a representative to take part in this kick-off.  For more information, please contact Marty Borchers.

ROSTER CHECKS:

To ensure that all of our membership is correct after recharter Marty asks that all units send her a copy of their most current roster.  We need to know who is in your unit and then we must cross check that with who is registered with council.  We would ask that you send a copy to Marty no later than June 14^th at [email protected] . Cubmasters may send their rosters with those attending the membership meeting. 

CELINA LAKE FESTIVAL PARADE:

Ray Moeller, Committee Chairman of Troop 69 Celina has invited any units who wish to be part of the Lake Festival to sign up with the Lake Festival so as all Scouting groups can be in one continuous line.  This would be a great time to advertise your units also. 

AUGUST KICK-OFF:

The August Program Kick-off will take place on Tuesday August 9^th at 7:00 p.m. at the Westlake Village Clubhouse.  This is the same location as last year.  More information on this event will follow.
