Handler will not have birds in the race.
All birds will pay entry fee of $100 and perch fee $25. Backup birds only $25. All entry fees paid out as prize money.
First out-of-area bird {Non-NBRPC member} receives $100 prize regardless of place.
Calcutta and pools will be cut 20% by club.
Prize money will be divided among the first drop. Calcutta and pools will be paid by trapping order 50/30/20.
Race direction will east or northeast 200 to 250 miles. Tauris Electronic Clock will be used. All decisions on suitability of weather and distance made on race day by loft manager are final.
Training Results and Active Entries will be posted on the One Loft website weekly.
Birds will be vaccinated for Pox and PMV on arrival.
Three paid $100 entries entitles flyer to one backup bird. If entire team is present night of shipping, flyer has the option to activate backup bird for $100, or bird will be auctioned and put in Calcutta. All entry fees will be paid out as prize money.
Handler will donate one team of trained birds to auction and Calcutta.
DATES
Entries--Feb 1 to April 1 including backups, perch fees due on arrival.
May 1st last day to pay $100 entry fee.
June 23rd $50 buyback must be paid before start of auction.
June 24th is Race Day. Makeup day for postponement is July 1st. Any birds lost training during week will have pool and Calcutta refunded. Bird owners are invited to watch birds rescanned on evening of June 30th.
There will be plenty of food and fun on race day, you may not win but you won't leave hungry.
