June 23, 1999 was one of those very special experiences. A pride of 16 lions had killed a cape buffalo the night before and dragged the partially eaten meal to a perfect spot for viewing! The pride stayed there, eating and lolling about, from late afternoon into the evening.

The final picture is what was left of the meal the next morning.
I think the young lions dragged the bones over there after the meal was finished.
