of the New Braunfels Outdoor Enthusiasts Masters- This title is bestowed upon the three founding members of the New Braunfels Outdoor Enthusiasts. These three members have the executive power to accept or decline all matters, which are brought forth before the club. This title is an executive title, which cannot be succeeded by others unless, by: death, change of residence (outside NBOE area), or lack to keep NBOE in the best interest of the club. During succession the position will be available to the members, which have the lengthiest history with the NBOE. Executive Committee- This committee reports directly to the Masters, and consists of the president, vice-president, treasurer, sergeant at arms, secretary and whichever other positions deemed necessary by the club. President- The president of the society is the CEO of the society. The visible duties include running of the monthly meeting, and presiding over board meetings. The office also generates monthly "President's Comments", theme open, which views and concerns by members will be expressed Vice-President-The vice president is specifically responsible to help the president manage the monthly meetings, including the scheduling of speakers and presenters, if so desired. The Vice President shall sit on the board of the Outdoor Programs committee, and shall help assist with all planning. The vice president shall anticipate, engineer, and supervise the technical requirements for all meetings. The vice-president shall select the categories for the monthly meetings, to be announced in the last meeting of the preceding month. Treasurer- This individual is responsible for maintaining accurate and complete financial records. The treasurer deposits checks, pays bills, and balances statements of NBOE funds. Treasurer collects and retains receipts for all expenses, and verifies that all expenditures were approved prior to releasing funds. The treasurer should be available either in person or by proxy at all board/club meeting for disbursement or collection of funds. Sergeant at Arms- The Sergeant at Arms shall keep the personal property of the chapter. This individual shall assist the president to keep order in meetings and shall ensure that all members and guest sign the attendance sheets for all meetings. This person will perform other duties as assigned by the President. Secretary- This individual is responsible for taking and transcribing minutes at each board meeting, for review by board members who were unable to attend. This individual shall assist with the membership committee in every aspect. This individual tallies ballots for the yearly officer election, as well as shall keep a permanent record of attendance by each member which is maintained and recorded for use in determining eligibility for membership and for office. Membership Committee�The Membership Committee shall solicit and review applications and make recommendations to the Executive Committee, for membership in the New Braunfels Outdoor Enthusiasts; shall maintain records of attendance and oversee attendance in accordance with Article III. Section 2 of these Bylaws; and, shall assign members to certain tasks as deemed necessary. Outdoor Programs Committee�The Outdoor Programs Committee shall oversee and approve outdoor program, and shall be responsible for submitting programs for the intent to honor the code of the New Braunfels Outdoor Enthusiasts, and the intent to offer fun outdoor adventures for the members of the club. Social Committee�The Social Committee shall work hand in hand with the Outdoor Programs Committee, and shall be responsible for scheduling, arranging and collecting monies for approved social functions of the New Braunfels Outdoor Enthusiasts within the parameters as set forth by the Executive Committee To return tho the Homepage Click Here |
