For Sale 07-15-09 Brandys Reason (aka John)--barrel & pole gelding--20 yrs old and running strong. Don't let his age scare you--he's in good shape & looks much younger than his years. Runs 2D-3D barrel times; I have run 22's and 23's in poles, but I can't stay with him when I turn him loose! Would be a great step-up horse, but too much horse for a beginner. Good feet--only needs shoes on the front. Easy to catch/trim/tie/load, etc. Gets along with other horses. Due for vaccinations and Coggins in April--current on worming, teeth, etc. Well patterned--smooth and easy to ride--he knows his job and does it. He has never refused a barrel or run up the fence, and is not a barrel hitter. His only drawback is that he has bled and needs to run on lasix, but he is easy to give shots to, and lasix is inexpensive. Asking $6500. Located in Gonzales. Try him--you'll like him!!
