During the summer of 1998, a group of students flew over the Atlantic ocean to work in London, England. This was a work program started by the college. There students worked hard, met many new friends and experienced the way of life in England.
"My trip to England was definitly an experience I will never forget.. I was in London for little more than three months but it felt like years. For my job, I was a waitress, served in banquets and worked in the bar. My favorite thing about England was the shopping! On my only day off a week, I would go into London and shop. Then go to the chip shop and pig-out. Although the meals at the hotel were very excellent (...eggs & beans), sometimes I would crave chips. And even though my time in England wasn't always great, I am glad I went because of all the wonderful people I met." -Terra Wilkins
