As the NBA comes to a close on yet another fantastic season now is the time for teams to reflect on their losses and weakness so they can better address their needs during this tumultous time I like to call the OFFSEASON. As the players head to the Bahamas the Gm's get stuck in the closet anaylzing draft choices, trade options, and salary caps, coaching changes, relations, promotions, and other stuff NO FAN needs to know about. From 9 in the morning to well into the wee hours these are the people that can really change a team (although no one talks about them) and turns them from pretenders into contenders. These are the guys that get no glory, no shoe contract, no television time, no fan website, no nothing. It is rather funny however that this NBA OFFSEASON is more exciting and thrilling then ever before what with all the coaching changes, Lebron James, and superstar free agents like Jason Kidd and Elton Brand. Nobody knows what can happen for sure but one thing is certain, this OFFSEASON is bound to be filled with surprises, blockbuster trades, great draft choices and many other thrilling stuff that will make you sitting on edge and talking with your friends on nothing but NBA Action. So dont believe the hype that the OFFSEASON is just a long boring summer until the real thing starts all over again, because this year's offseason promises to be one hell of a rid. LEaving this writer to say if this is considered the OFFSEASON maybe they should change the names of the seasons and swith the REG with the OFF, for this year at least
