A TRIBUTE TO MY COUSIN,
MS. KISMET INTAN BTE ABDULLAH

This is a short tribute to my cousin and her family.  Just a small collection of photographs from the olden days.  To Kak Intan, Abang Amir and Abang Lajis, enjoy!

A picture taken a long time ago, in fact I'm not even sure which year.  I wasn't even around at that time. Let me introduce you to them, on the left is my late uncle whom we all call Mama Dolah. He passed in December of 1994 and is still so greatly missed by us all.  Next is that little tike, his name is Zulkifli and he's my elder brother.  He must have been about a year old then.  The other scalp-folliclely challenged man is my own father.  I could be wrong but they could be at the Esplanade.  Am I right Kak Intan?

This is my late aunt.  We use to address her as Mami Nah, but her full name is Hajjah Aminah.  She used to like babysitting my sister Ruziah, as you can see on the picture above.  This was taken at my sister's birthday and it was a joint celebration because another second cousin of mine, Sham was also celebrating his birthday.

60's A-Go-Go!

Check out that co-ordinated outfit.  My late aunt was a talented and skilled seamstress.  In fact she used to take in orders from women everywhere for baju kurung or kebaya modern which she would design herself.  Her daughters benefit from it, of course.  Here you can see my cousin Kak Noni on the extreme left.  Then it's my other cousin from my second aunt.  Her name is Kak Idah.  Now, you can see Kak Intan, peering on her ice-cream stick.  It must be really delicious, she couldn't take her eyes off it.  The little girl in front is my elder sister Ruziah. This was taken at the same time as the 1st photo above.
