 ** Kiss 104's "Tom Joyner In the Morning Show" broadcast live with a concert by WAR
Kiss 104.7 FM's Morning Show Host Tom Joyner will broadcast his show live from the Atlanta Civic Center Auditorium to help kick off the 1998 Festival. Special guests include NBAF Performers, Artistic Staff and the group WAR performing throughout the morning. Tune in or stop by!

Maya Angelou1998 Opening Ceremony
The National Black Arts Festival will officially open this extraordinary 10-day Festival in grand style with co-hosts Maya Angelou and Charles Dutton. Festival attendees expecting an outstanding evening of pageantry, entertainment, and celebration won't be disappointed. Moving and inspirational, multi-disciplinary ceremonies mark the official beginning and ending of the Festival with music, dance, poetry and reflection.
