I installed a full '87 951 burgandy carpet kit along with front and rear seats. The pictures make the seats look much more red than they are. Also it made the cloth look very pale, which in person it is not. The carpet  was pretty much a straight swap. I added the leather covered   e-brake handle, 944 style hood release handle, 951 carpeted door pockets, and leather shift boot. It took about a full weekend to finish it all. The drivers seat is power which I have not finished hooking up yet. The entire trunk area has burgandy carpeting as well. The carpet looks near new and is quite a nice contrast to my dark grey  paint. The seats are 100% better than the stock ones. They have great support and really hug you. I can't even imagine the 951 sport seats!
New Interior and
Rear Bumper Upgrade
I installed a set of heavily modified 944 rear bumper caps onto my 931. Hey they have a 931 part number why not. My obsession with this started when I owned my old white 81 924. I couldn't stand the color contrast between all the black (rubber) trim and the white body. It is very dated if you ask me. So I got a set of these and modified them to fit. It took about a day to do the modifications correctly. After the parts are modified installation takes about one hour. All you need it the caps and a dremel. It really makes the back look better and makes the bumper look more like a part of the body rather than a strange growth out of it. For now they are primered but will get painted with the rest of the car soon.
