Welcome to the Wonderful World of Residence Life! |
I've created this page to offer some info on being a staff member! |
Always Remember... *The staff is a team; we will always work together and support one another! *This is probably the most difficult and rewarding job you will have. *You live where you work; everyone is watching you. *You will make a difference to more people than you even think possible. *We live in a residence hall, not a dorm! *Greet each resident presonally and get to know each one on an individual basis. *Programs and community interactions are the building blocks for success on your floor and within the hall. *The good days will outweigh the bad ones! *Other than Residence Life, there isn't a more energetic and outgoing group of people to be involved with. *Ask for help or support when you need it. *You are a student first, then a staff member. *I am here to help whenever you need someone to talk to; I was a RA for three years too...I understand! *Laugh often! *You were selected for this position because many people believe you will succeed! |
