Starfire M&B goes by the name Mikey, after the LIFE cereal boy. "Mikey likes it" is his motto as he will eat anything he can reach, whether it be sticks, blackberries, or nettles. Mikey is a 20 year old (but acts closer to the age of five) Haflinger gelding from Folenhof farm in Canada. He is a half brother, by the imported mare Siwa, to Arron and out of the Austrian import stallion Stanza M&B. He has a "sense of humor" and enjoys coming up with new and creative ways to try and get Chesna on the ground or snatch a mouthful of food. He events, and has won, at the Novice level and easily clears three foot fences. He, like Precious, can be ridden with no bridle bareback, perform tricks (his favorite is to say "No"), pull logs (or broken lawn-mowers!), and do just about anything else that is asked of him. Mikey is a crazy and funny guy, and would like nothing more than to eat with his best friend Precious in a gigantic hay field from dawn till dusk. |
