Not a single FA-18 "Hornet" fighter jet or SH-60 "Seahawk" helicopter ever left a ship's flight deck without the support of a well-trained ground crew. Airmen launch, recover and control the Navy's sleekest aircraft and always perform as a team of professionals.

An aircraft carrier, the main home of flight operations personnel, is in fact a floating airport. Flight operations personnel are experts in the same business and have the same skills as airport personnel at any major airport in the country, from aircraft maintenance to air traffic control. The big difference is, on Navy flight decks you will find a lot "cooler" aircraft that come with a lot of extras. So you may learn to catapult an aircraft off the carrier's flight deck at lightning speed or load the weapons systems of an F-14 "Tomcat". Are you ready for this challenge?
