The SEABEES are the Navy's on-the-ground force. After an area has been secured it must be outfitted to the Navy's needs. SEABEES can build entire "military cities" in a day or less. Everything from tents to bridges, they build it all.
They operate heavy equipment -- five-ton trucks to bulldozers, backhoes, graders, forklifts, cranes, pile drivers, rollers and asphalt equipment. All the big equipment you have ever dreamed of operating, they have it. With the skills you will gain here, no matter where you go in the world--in the Navy and out--your skills will be needed.
