NavyOps3 - The Pacific Battle

Version: 3c

Overall Situation:

It is the late phase of the Second World War and
the US and Japanese Naval forces are preparing for
one last great battle.
The Japanese Navy has just finished building
their modern carrier "Shinano". They are sending it
together with the "Taiho" to hit the US Navy
with one deadly strike.

The carrier groups will encounter each other
within the vicinity of two small islands.
One is used by the US Naval forces
as an airbase, while the other is occupied
by the Japanese and used as a small
airfield.

Your Mission:

Each side will try to achieve air superiority.

For your multiplayer start positions you should
use one of this positions:

1. Center between the two islands / force groups

N30*00.00'
E170*12.00'
Altitude: 5,000 ft.

2. Overhead US island

N30*00.00'
E170*32.00'
Altitude: 5,000 ft.

3. Overhead Japanese Island

N30*00.00'
E169*52.00'
Altitude: 5,000 ft.

The Japanese Task Force and Navy based island is located in
the west (heading 270), while the US Naval Group and island
is located to the east (heading 090) from the center position.

Each team should land on their assigned carriers
and prepare for scrambling.

Note: For coordination of carrier operations
and battle management the use of the
      voice chatting software "RogerWilco"
is recommended. Each team can establish
      it's own "frequency".
(obtain at www.rogerwilco.com - it is free!)

After each team has reported "ready for take off"
by using the CFS chat window, scramble all fighters
and set heading so as to engage hostile planes.

Good luck naval aviators and may the force be with you!
