ASSOCIATION OF WRENS
Sydney Branch
The Sydney Branch of The Association of Wrens was started in 1946 to enable ex members of the W.R.N.S. to get together for a chat etc. These ladies had in the main married Australian servicemen, thus making Australia their new home. The Association has grown in numbers from  that time, and more post war members are joining, having emigrated here over the years,"ten pound poms"they call us, and it was 10 pounds well spent! Our members are mainly in Sydney and parts of N.SW.  we are still finding new members, with  the membership staying around the ninety to a hundred mark.
We meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month, 12 noon in the N.S.W.Sports Club, 10 Hunter St. Sydney. All ex members of the Women's Royal Naval  Service will be made very welcome. If you are interested in joining the Association, contact me by email [email protected]
