I retired in 1975 after a very rewarding naval career.� I moved back to my hometown, Ashland, Kentucky and had the good fortune to be able to spend several good years with my Mother and Father.� During this time I worked for a steel making company, specializing in computers. In the back of my mind I have always had the picture of the 'Great American Dream' - owning my own business!� Tried a few things but mostly played around at it!
I eventually moved to Wilmore, Kentucky - a small rural community near Lexington. Love it!� Have some acreage and raise a respectable size garden.� No animals (except two cats)!
Finally got to go on that dreamed of vacation with my wife - a cruise to Alaska and it was a beautiful trip.� The picture on the left of this page was taken on September 11, 2001. When we finally got back to Kentucky, the whole world had changed!!!� It was time to take a new look at my life, as I am certain most people have.
Things are not as certain and secure anymore, are they?� Physical security, emotional security and financial security are all up in the air.
