| This is my 4 legged Guru. It has 9 degree of freedom. Its body is of aluminium. Its controlled by the basic stamp microcontroller. Its head is a Logitech webcam. It is powered using NiCD batteries. First I was going to buy aibo. But then I thought that it would be great to make one of my own, so I can control the mechanics, electronics by myself. It has been a great learning experience making it. I plan to make it remote controlled. As yet it communicates to the PC using the serial port. I am currently working on a java based gui to model its actuators and movements. As yet it can walk, turn, bend its back so that the head titls up. | ||||||||||
