WRITINGS
I hope to add to this page, but for now...
These are a couple of stories with a South African flavour.
I wrote the first one, THE FOSSIE COFFEE PLAN , based on an incident when I was at boarding school as a kid. I've thought sometimes about writing about some incidents, stringing them together in a collection:
The other story is very different. It was written by an aunt many years ago, even before I was born I think. It was passed around the family, and nearly got lost. None of my cousins seemed to show much interest in it and somehow I inherited it.
I really think it would be a great pity were it to be lost.
GROWING UP IN QUEENSTOWN is set before and during the Boer War. From what I can gather, it is based on the experiences of my aunt's mother (May of the story) and her sister.
