| Welcome to the website of multiple Grammy Winner and multiple Na Hoku Hanohano winner, Rev. Dennis D. K.Kamakahi. A former member of the legendary Hawaiian folk music group, the Sons of Hawaii (1974 - 1992), he became well known during the Hawaiian Renaissance of the 1970's for his music compositions and has written over 500 songs. Wahine 'Ilikea, Pua Hone, Koke'e, and E Hihiwai are some of the Hawaiian classic songs, sung and danced to today, were written by him. |
