I want to write a poem for you
do something no one else could do
I want to sing to you each night
and kiss you gently while holding you tight.
I want to make your dreams come true
and tell you always that I love you...
I want to sooth your pain away
I want to keep you, make you stay.
I want to tell you how I care
and tell you I will always be there....
I want to move the world for you
and watch you smiling as I do..
I want to gently touch your cheek
knowing you are mine to keep..
I want to lay with you each night
and never let you out of sight..
I want to reach into your heart
and never for us to be apart..
I want to understand you soul
and never have to feel the cold..
But I have to love you from afar
and always wonder where you are
Impossible as it may seem
your love to me reamins a dream...
I wish I had the nerve to tell
so I could break fee from this hell..
I say a prayer for you each night
and pray someday I can hold you tight:)
