riley and Buffy were sitting on her bed, he kept his distance, glancing
at her from time to time.
He still couldn't believe how lucky he got since he came to California.
He will have a lot to say to cousin Dixie and cousin Mary-Beth and
alllll his sisters. His grandpa will be so proud. Dear riley finally got
it going with a REAL girl and she's a hottie too! not a shocker, since
she was not a member of the finn clan.
And he was now a superman hero type! His Proffesor just saw him, he
always had big bones, working in the field does good to men, grandpa
used to say, so she gave him some drugs and new clothes. And he was now
a commando! He only dreamed that when he was watching G.I. Joe as a kid!

riley smiled at Buffy, she gave him a wide smile. It wasn't a smile she
was using when she was laughing or amused, like she smiled with her
friends. It was a special smile just for him! He called it her special
riley-smile.
Boy, was he driving her crazy or what?? He could tell she had the hotts
for him! Just that west coast girls had it different from down-there-in
the-south-middle-non-coast girls. Or at least in his farm. His very
unique place where he grew up.

He leaned to kiss her and she didn't slap him or anything, just kissed
him back.
'The way she kisses', riley thought, 'you could tell i'm her first. How
lucky could I get??'
He put his hand on her blouse. His ma always said that if you stroke
girls softly on the stomach they will be ready for you. 'What the heck',
he thought. 'Works on cows!'
Buffy straightened up and moved his hand. "Look riley", she started
saying.
He smiled at her, curving up his special finn clan lip as his ma used to
call it, and Buffy gave him her special riley smile back.
"You're very nice, and I can't tell you just how great it is that
you're", she hesitated a bit. "Human", her smile slowly faded.
"And you're in the Initiative, that's cool you're fighting demons and
all secret stuff you won't let me on", She noticed his hand was still on
her stomach, though not underneath her shirt again. "Take your hands off
me". she demanded and he withdrew his hand. "Just listen", she took a
breath.
"I want to go on a REAL date for once. Not just sitting on my bed making
out". She finally said.
"Okay. Hmm", riley did a thinking face, twitching his lips again. "Do
you know any barns around the area?"
Buffy eyed him. "Uh.. no".
"Darn, so how could we have a real date without a barn around?" he
seemed puzzled.
Buffy shrugged. "Well, you know..." her mind got distracted. "What is a
real date in a barn by the way??"
"Oh, I'm so glad you asked! Well, my cousins Dixie and Mary-Beth they
come and-"
"Ok, forget it. I really, um, we don't have a lot of time left. You need
to go to sleep early, right?"
"Yes, cause you know, i'm off duty tonight. Tomorrow theres a big exam
in Psychology".
"Yeah I know, so.. hey, we could go to the Bronze, I heard Dingos ate my
baby are playing".
riley looked at her shocked and disgusted.
"What?" she looked at him confused. "What did I do?"
"I don't go to anything that has 'dingos' in it. I'm boycotting it.
Because when I was once In my relatives' farm in Australia, they had
this huge herd of beautiful beautiful cows. You know, they had the most
amazing cow I've ever seen, Rosie. Almost as pretty as my Bessie back
home, And there were sheeps there too! Lots of them! It was so fun
playing around with them! Their dog bit me one time, but my relatives
gave me shots against rabies so I was ok. I hate dogs. Anyway.. Oh! They
were filming the movie "Babe" in the near farm! that was awesome, i got
to be in the movie! Isn't Will cute? Will played Babe! He was the first
celebrity I ever met! Anyway, there were dingos running free. The
government should have laws against it! And dingos ate my Rosie! I cried
for days! It was so terrible!! Annyway, grandpa promised that when we go
back to Iowa, he will buy me another cow! So i will have Bessie AND a
new cow! Hmm, i should call him to see if he got me one already". riley
smiled satisfied. He looked down at Buffy.

"Buffy?" He shook her shoulders. "Buffy, wake up".
Buffy shook her head and gazed at him, still dazed. "AH! riley, you
scared me!" Then she remembered their plans. "So that was a no?"
riley smiled. "No. So what you have in mind?"
Buffy shrugged. "How bout that psychology exam? I think I could use some
excersize".
riley's smiled wider like his nose. "Oh joy! You're the perfect girl for
me! We could have fun perfect and normal life together! Forever!"
Buffy smiled her special riley smile. "Actually, I decided I don't want
to have a normal life".
riley looked at her puzzled. "Is that the slayer part? Cause I've killed
17 demons! I could have any kind of life with you! I'd love that!"
Buffy shook her head. "No offense, but no thanks, riley. Never in my
life did I desire to kill a human being", she slowed down her speech,
"Like I do now!!" She pulled out her stake and pierced his heart.
riley looked at her shocked, his mouth open, his hands covering the red
spot that expanded on his shirt. He started to pant, until his eyes
rolled up and his head sank backwards.
Buffy sighed and picked up the phone, dialing.

"Angel Investigations", She heard Angel's voice after a few dials.
"Angel It's me". She said quietly.
"Buffy, what's wrong?"
"I killed a human being and I have no regrets".
He was silent for a minute. "Do you want me to come over?"
"Yes please, I need you".

She closed the phone, smiling with satisfaction. She'll be with her
Angel by the same hour tomorrow.
She will make him understand how wrong he was.
Gazing down at riley's body, she thought what to do with it.
Then she grabbed it by its legs and threw it out the window.
She cleansed her hands, smiling her normal Buffy smile.
"Well I guess we could call our first date a success".
