Me, Pat Carey & my sister on 11-16-86

This picture was taken at Hawthorne Park, California. Ginny and I gave our first public speech together as well as gave our moral support to Pat Carey as she fasted (for something like 45 days) while in unison, with Gino Casinova in Washington, D.C. to bring recognition to the MIA-POW issue. We signed the inside of her tent on behalf of our dad & the other 106, and by chance, we were there for the countdown when Pat would end her fast to the sound of many applause. Pat Carey was an inspiration to me because she demonstrated that one could do anything, when they have a cause and a focus.
