Westermost

The "Cabo da Roca" (Roca cape) is the westernmost point of continental Europe.
I have been visiting it since I was a child, and have always been very fond of.
My interest for the cape extended also to the "Serra de Sintra" region, but along
the years it has became so degraded that visiting it today is almost a sacrifice to me.
The cape is also very threatened by constructions, road building and forestation
with exotic species, nevertheless there are still some "hidden" places were it is
possible, at only 40 km away from Lisbon, to spend an entire day without seeing a soul
in an apparently undisturbed habitat.
These pictures are the result of many visits I have done to what I abusively
call "Roca": the region that lies North of Guincho, South of Adraga and West of Peninha.
