I live in Vermont. A wonderful place of cool, dry summers, and long winters. A place that gives you a slower pace of life and a lot of time to think. A place of noticing the things that we all seem to take for granted. A place to get closer in the experience with Nature, and in doing this, understanding things that you never had before.

Covered Bridges both of which are located in
Cambridge Township
of The Lamoile Valley.

Another shot taken in North Cambridge. Right down from this spot is a wonderful herb farm that I've been to often. In fact, I use to live a short way in the opposite direction. I guess I consider Lamoile County the most beautiful area in all of Vermont and I am definitely partial!

I thought this was worth taking in Cambridge Township

This beautiful work is done by Jackfrost on my window pane!

For the most part, Vermont is a rural state with many farms although their numbers are dwindling rapidly. The native Vermont farmer is a hard working stubborn man. I love to sit and listen to that wonderful Vermont accent and the marvelous bits of wisdom that Vermont folk like to share when they've a mind too. (Lamoile County)

This spot is located behind my house in the mountains. Vermont is known for its pure mountain water and being I have a fresh spring that feeds the house, I can attest to the truthfulness of this fact.

My mom comes up each year and spends some time. Oddly enough (but not surprising) each visit tends to lengthen by a week or few. We go for many rides as there are miles and miles of dirt roads within the mountains. We have little idea where this dead-end road is and may find it someday, again, by accident.

In writing for this picture, I feel so lucky because I get to say again; A place in the mountains behind my house!

This wonderful tree practically jumped out saying "Here I am. Take a picture of me!" How could I resist!

Winter in the north country!
I'm tucked in cozy with the woodstove stoked up.

The Changing Seasons.

I never grow tired of Mother Nature and the incredible changes that take place. These are three photo's of the small valley behind my house, which in reality, is my backyard.

Every October 5th of each year I visit my friend Cheryl in Franklin County. We always walk to the top of her pastures and this is what we see. The mountain in the distance is Mount Mansfield, the highest peak in Vermont.

Don't like the weather? Wait a short spell. It will probably do something different........

A friends view from their cabin.

With every turn in the raod there is something beautiful to see.
